There is something very alluring about the stock market. During the tech bubble a few years ago, lots of people were flocking to try and make money by trading stocks. You could literally pin a tail on the donkey and come out a winner as shares were pretty much only going one way and that was up. Of course, the party eventually ended and their were stockmarket casualties but the professionals that really knew how to trade stock were making money on the way up and on the way back down again.
