Disaster Recovery
When you hear of disaster recovery you think of real disasters like fire, storm or vandalism, right? Well, I can honestly say that anytime you lose a document regardless of how you lost it, it is a disaster. I was working on a presentation recently for my client and I accidentally dumped the entire thing. Luckily, with the document management system we have in place, I was able to retrieve it from our server and it was recovered in no time back to working order on my computer. For a couple of minutes I thought I lost my work forever but luckily I did not have start over again.
