Private Investigator Badges in the United States
Tuesday, December 25th, 2007In the United States, there are a few states that do not have licensing requirements for those who want to become private investigators. Aside from the states of Alabama, Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Mississippi and South Dakota, all the other states have set requirements that private investigator badges have to comply for them to be issued. Most states require applicants to attend mandatory training programs as part of their pre-licensing education. The granting of licenses will also have to depend on how well the applicants did in an examination that is given by the state. Lastly, it is important that future private investigator badges had not been convicted of felony in the past.
